The Christmas Story of Tara-la

260 years ago Heinrich Hoffmann wrote Struwwelpeter, the cherished collection of classic illustrated rhymes in which quaint little children burn up, starve and have their thumbs chopped off.

How could I not be inspired to write and illustrate a similar tale at Christmas time?
